As I'm not planning on trimming for a long time I might possibly get to MBL by then or longer if I'm lucky!

I've been hanging out in the MBL for years and still feel like this is my thread lol even though I'm already there. :laugh: I made it down to tailbone summer 2019 but the hemline looked terrible after a year or more of no-trim so I whacked it back to waist in Feb 2020, and here we are, a year later.

Trimmed 2" this February, back at MBL+ like always, and ready to let it grow all summer again. Come join me, my friends! The best part? When you lean your hair back and can feel it just brushing your hip line/TBL against your skin!

Bat, I hope you won't be sad if I revive this thread! I just did some maths, and I think if I continue not trimming, I could be hovering a little above BSL by the end of this year (I haven't quite figured out my BSL vs MBL measurements).

There is 2” between MBL and waist on me but I feel hopeful, after all I reached APL sooner than I expected :)

The wording of this always gets me. New Years Eve 2022 is technically this year 31/12/22. But I get it, its actually referring to the next day and the eve of the next year. I guess this gives some insight into how much mind works.

I think I take "New Year's Eve 2022" to mean the 31st of December 2021 - the eve of the coming year of 2022. As I understand, however, the name of the thread refers to the 31st of December 2022 as you wrote.

No I meant new years eve of this year so the next day will be 2023

To begin with I couldn’t see how New Years Eve 2022 could be taken to be anything other than 31 December 2022. But then, if I think back to the Millenium New Years Eve, that was in 1999 not 2000. Interesting :)

I will hopefully be MBL by the end of this year anyway, unless I decide to chop it again. I’ve maintained for two years so I’d really like to end this year with something different!

Honestly I'll be lucky if I hit the top of my bra strap by New Years. It just depends how my hair holds up. I'm not planning on trimming unless I'm finding my ends doing the rough and tangly thing they do when I'm in desperate need of a trim.
