Hi yall. I been using a new product AHAVA shampoo and conditioner, the smell is great and everything but but its not cleaning my hair. After I use the shampoo my hair feels sticky, greasy, clings together and even while wet or dry its a frizzy tangled mess, even after I comb it all, it clumps back up together. Whats going on? Is it not strong enough or is it coating my hair? What can I do to make it better as this stuff is expensive blaaaaah!
Edited to ADD: Even after I chelate/clarify its still the same weird reaction sticky greasy type of a feel with AHAVA. Its so weird.

Does the same occur if you use a different shampoo, same AHAVA conditioner, or vice versa? If not, then maybe you can use the AHAVA one that doesn't cause the problem, ditch the one that does, and get a low or no scent replacement for the problem one so you can still enjoy the scent.

Sounds like its depositing something your hair doesn't like. Can you take it back and get a refund?

Its only happening with ahava sadly. Today I used moroccan oil products and my hair is normal again.
I wish I could take it back but I love the scent so much.
It happens when I use the shampoo or conditioner alone, I tried mixing it up but nope, if I use the ahava my hair is sticky, feels coated, staticy mess.
Will adding baking soda or doing a vinegar rinse help maybe?

I had that happen with a shampoo bar. Yes I would try a ACV rinse!

I looked up the mineral shampoo & conditioner-not sure if there are others? Could you be sensitive to the polyquats in both? Some people have more difficulty removing various polyquats than silicones, and the fact that it looks like both the shampoo and conditioner have them may mean they are not effectively being removed. Just a stab in the dark...
