Need a pretty hairstyle that is visible from the front for that holiday zoom? How about a super fancy ponytail! You could even add additional front details such as lace braids or twists.

Oh! I'm on a bit of a braid kick so this excites me. I betcha these would make a great variant on Frida Braids... you know, f your into that sort of thing. :bigtongue:

I hope someone does it as a coronet braid! I am so in love with them (partially because I think it's going to be my go-to if my hair ever gets that long :lol

If I get to this, I'll probably pin it up as a coronet. You may get your wish jane_marie.

Where can I learn about braids (all types with pics) systematically?

This was my first attempt! I'll definitely be playing with this one a lot, as it's a very pretty way of dressing up a ponytail. I bet it's even more impressive and dramatic on longer hair.

In the hairstyle directory, here (https://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=132079).

Nicely done WitchyM!

I finally got around to this and broke out my Mele Kalikimaka sweater and all the red, white, and green hair things for good measure.

Braided details rarely show well in my hair. *sigh*

And bunned:

That looks gorgeous! I can definately see the braid in your hair and the bun looks really good with the flowers!! It looks like something you could wear to a fancy Christmas ball :)

I will definitely make this hairdo one of these days. I already did one a couple of weeks ago, but it was very quick and messy. I might spice it up with lace braid or something in the forehead...

neko_kawaii, very lovely as a coronet braid!
