Hello again! I got interested basically overnight in hennaing.

So, I wrote in my previous post that I am using something similar to "Adore" dye (its basically conditioner with a pigment)

I am curious whether I can use henna over that? Thanks!

Yes you can, just make sure you use lure henna without a bunch of added chemicals.
While I don't think the kind of color you are using would interacts badly with crappy, chemical laden henna, pure henna is 100% better.

Yep, shouldn't be an issue. Definitely make sure you get good quality, pure aka body art quality henna. I'd do a strand test to make sure you like the color though, because henna is very permanent, and very hard to dye over, in the sense, the red tends to always show through.

I absolutely love henna, but I always want to make sure people realize how permanent it is before using it. I consider that a bonus feature as I get awesome red hair and only have to touch up my roots as it grows long. ;)
