Hi all,
I've been on the LHC for a few years on and off. This past five? six? months I've not cared for hair growth that much (which is understandable considering the current events). I cut the final few inches of dye damage off during summer, so I'm now back at APL+. Hoping to reach BSL next summer.
During june, july and august I had a bout of what I believe to be stress induced telogen effluvium. I had a surgery in january and although it was only half an hour long, my body always reacts with a stress reaction about 4-6 months after the fact. I was horrified when my hair started shedding quite heavily, but thank goodness it stopped quite suddenly after a good two months. If it had gone on much longer I would have gone to my GP for bloodwork.
So, now I'm back to growing! I'm planning on starting braiding before bed again, just as prepoo oiling. My routine hasn't changed that much, I wash twicr a week (hope to strech once again to once a week, it's just so much more convenient), S&C and follow up with LCO after that. I wear my hair up most of the time, except on wash days. I'm hoping for a healthy head of baby hairs soon :). The first batch has started growing out already!
