this is the current state of my hair:

i started growing it out eight years ago at shoulder length. the first few years i wasn't very involved with care and styles, long hair was sooo far away for me since i never had it....and i simply let it grow. then i had a phase where i got very involved with care, hairstyles, and i tested pretty much everything. but over the last two years i got lazy again and i didn't give much about hairstyles and care. but since i was not happy with my current routine (washing every few weeks with cheap shampoo and applecider vinnegar rinse, making a simple braid or bun) because it dried out the top layer of my hair and i was sick of always fighting breakage and split ends. that's why i'm now trying to put more effort into my routine and i also try to do more pretty hairstyles and have more fun with my hair. i plan to test shampoo bars and ph neutral washing. so i am looking for new input from here, but also for some nice communication :)
my goal is to reach knee length. this would be more than a dream for me, after classic length was my first real big milestone :D
my current hair length is 125cm or 49,2 inch. knee length should be at 140 to 150cm (i am not so much comfortable with inches, sorry).
