I have been working on a project to record a video for every style LHCers do.

So many styles and instructions are lost as pictures get taken down, videos set to private, threads no longer available. So I am creating a playlist to preserve all our styles. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrOm-n4Mr-psWztPojNMv5gdkYtHgykVu

I’ve started with this list: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=112682&page=3&p=2608650&viewfull=1#post2608650

Many links there are broken. I’ve tracked down most of the styles but there are a few I can’t find instructions for.

So I thought we could put our collective knowledge to the task!

First I’ll list the styles I don’t know and if you know how to do them let me know! And then if there are other LHC styles you know that are not on this list please let me know that too!!!

Shell’s every day knot,
Flower bun
twitch’s double looped knot, (Is this it? https://youtu.be/NEtHr-EeBy8)
knotknot bun,
retro twist,
romantic French twist (is this different from a regular French twist???),
goddess,
long hair chignon with stick

Might I mention the LHC Hairstyle Thesaurus? It has instructions for some of the ones you don't know.

Great work so far!!

Goddess bun, as I learned it, is basically where you:
1) section off the front 1" to 1.5" or so of your front hairline
2) pull the rest back into a ponytail & bun
3) Part the hair in the front and twist each side back as an accent. Cross the twists over the bun and add remaining twists to the bun.

I frequently do it just as a ponytail, but it does have an elegant, faintly Grecian look when bunned.

I'll try to do the full bun for you this week. :) I think it might have also been one of the styles of the month, if you don't mind fiddling with Photobucket tags.

Do let me know if you find or make tutorials for things that are in the Thesaurus, or if you find things that are missing!

Once I finish the styles from the first thread I will move on to doing anything additional I find in the thesaurus!!

Thanks so much for your work on this video collection! My hair is too short for most (basically all :D) LHC styles so I don't know of any that are missing, but I subscribed to your channel & I'm very grateful to have the resources in one place!

I’m so glad! I figured if I make my own videos I’m in control of them but disappearing! Lol. Since I have nothing better to do in quarantine I expect to get about one a day up. Once I finish my first list I’ll scour for more lhc styles!
