Is Red Wine Safe/Effective?

I’m planning to dye my hair later today and am planning to use my normal ingredients:

•Light Mountain Natural Henna Powder
•Hot Water
•Splash of ACV
•Castor Oil
•Grapeseed Oil
•Rose Hip Oil
•Peppermint Oil

I’m planning on adding Neem oil this time and have a little bit of red wine left over that I’m thinking about adding...does this seem like a good combo? Has anyone whose used red wine in their henna noticed any added benefits or changes in color? I plan on posting before and after pics!

I would ditch the red wine. I would take coffee instead if it's to darken the stain.

All red wine does when added to henna is dry out your hair.

Red wine doesn't affect hair, like a lot of things it doesn't color protein well, so all it'll do is dry out your hair and make it smell like rancid grapes :)

Ps. My hair hates alcohol anyway, so I definitely don't see wine being a hair care product.
