I can just about make my loop, but extending it? Woops. There go all my layers. So I'm definitely out of this one, not for lack of trying though! I tried! :D

Having trouble getting that center part to come smoothly before anchoring it.

Anyone have any tips on this one?
I'm having trouble getting the center part to come out at all, and if it comes out and I'm able to get a fork in there, it feels like the top of the fork is leaning out away from my head and pulling while the tines are poking me at the bottom.

I think the taper of my hair does not give the pull through part enough volume.

I do this as a night time topknot without any pins or anchors since I think classic. It stays intact long enough to get the sleep cap on but is always undone by morning.

This is pretty cool! Too bad my hair is still too short now.

Thanks for posting this! My end result doesn't look too much like the tutorial, but it's quite secure and I like it a lot!

Edited to add: I haven't been here in a few years. I'm not sure why I can't link a photo anymore. Sorry!
