How long is your hair in your dreams at night?

At night when I dream my hair is WAY long. Last night I dreamed I worked in a toy store and my hair was waist length. Anyone else have long hair dreams?

In any of my dreams my hair is either knee or floor length both of which are my long term hair goals, if i'm having a particularly bad nightmare then it's been cut lopsided to about collarbone length which immediately wakes me up just to make sure it isn't real.

I had a nightmare last night that I cut my hair into a sort of A line bob but REALLY short in the back and just collarbone strands in the front with eyebrow bangs. And dyed it black. I was crying and trying to find a wig ASAP.

Usually I don't have those kinds of dreams but since I discovered my hair is thinner than I thought yesterday I had a bit of negativity going.

Normally my hair is shoulder in my dreams which is weird because I've never had it shoulder, except for a short time last year.

Honestly, in my dreams,my attention is never brought to my hair unless I'm actually dreaming about it and my dream focal point is my hair. Usually when I'm dreaming about it, it leans on the side of a nightmare. I've cut it off really short and it's dyed blonde or some horrendous color. I then awaken and am glad it was just a dream:joy:

I don't have many dreams involving my hair but I did the other night, just as long as in real life. I dreamt I was walking with it loose through heavy snowfall that speckled the entire length.
When I woke up and learned it was a dream, in that post-sleep daze I questioned if my long hair was also part of the dream... :confused: Then I came back to reality. :)

It's my true length, apart from the rare times I do something silly with it and I'm devastated, until I realise I'm dreaming.

My best friend with the lovely thick tailbone hair though, I keep dreaming of her with knee length hair. I don't know if she wants it that long, but that's the length it keeps being in my head.

In my hair nightmares it used to start off at knee or calf (before it was that long), and now it starts off around there but I don't usually pay attention exactly where, so likely just my true length.

I don't think I've ever specifically dreamed about my own hair -- if I am in the dream, my hair is just how it actually is. I think maybe once I dreamed that I had gotten a haircut but I don't remember the specifics, though it wasn't a haircut nightmare type thing. Although I have had dreams that emphasized other people's hair.

I don’t see myself when I’m dreaming, unless I see myself in a mirror in my dream. I only remember that happening once, a few months ago in my dream I was trying on clothes in a store and saw myself in the mirror. I had fingertip length hair, which was my goal at the time.

I don't dream much, but from what I can remember, my hair usually isn't as long as in real life - maybe about waist/hip. Basically the length it was when I stopped wearing it down regularly. BUT, I have had a handful of dreams turned nightmares where I confidently chop it off to a bob, only to start regretting it and freaking out in the dream. Luckily it's never been real.

Last time it was around APL, and I realized I was dreaming so I started stretching it down to waist lol. In my dreams if I just pull on my hair and will it to it gets longer.

It varies from dream to dream. Most of the time it's longer than it is now but not my goal length.

When I had longer hair as a young man (down to my waist) I would very occasionally have bad dreams that I had cut my hair short. I would be so glad to wake up and find I still had my long hair!

Now with hair that's a bit below my shoulders, far shorter than I want it, I very occasionally have dreams that it's far longer, sometimes below my waist. These dreams make me so happy!

I had a best friend in high school that had lovely thick bcl hair, and over the last 30 years I haven't seen her I've always dreamed of her having knee length or longer hair too. But, I don't know if she wants it that long though. I asked her one time, "How long is your hair?" and she replied back saying, "It's about mid back length." I also told her how much I admired her hair in high school, and she said, "Thank you!" She also said that she sometimes think about cutting it shorter. But that was 3 years ago.

In my dreams, my hair is either shoulder length or hip length :confused:. I don't really like the stages between those on myself, though I rather prefer to have APL+ hair than chin length because it's much easier to manage and I can braid it.

I guess that those dreams tell me to let my hair grow longer than my initial plan (I wanted to get to waist). But since it's still a long journey ahead, I'll try to stay patient and not change my goals 'officially'.
