Help with "hair type" symbols

Hi! I just joined this forum, and I'm confused by the user stats stuff about what kind of hair I have. Can someone link me to an explanation of the symbols? (i, ii, //, etc) I would like to fill out that part of my profile but I can't figure out what it all means. Thanks! :)
