It wasn't the end of the world! Now, to be fair, it was like... maaaaybe 30 hairs worth but I was so afraid it would somehow blunt my hemline too much. Seems to be okay, I can barely tell, my hair still "feels" the same length, and I still have my taper and fairytail ends so I'm happy.

It can be a bit scary, but once you're used to it, I mean it is so easy to do!
Good job!

Good for you

I love self trims, and do monthly dustings.... as well as quarterly hemline maintenance trims.

Thanks :D

I am a perfectionist with trimming myself, so I think I could be trusted :flower:

And TBH.... I would love trading trims and styles with LHC peeps :cheer:

Wouldn't it be great to all get together and have a "let's trim" day :D

Good job :cheer: I'm looking forward to the days when I can S&D and microtrim my own hair. I think it's just a bit too short at the moment..

Shoulder length could be done, but it's got so much growth potential, and at that length it usually (unless you bleached or heavily colored) isn't damaged then. So no-trimming would be better. :D

Trimming may be possible at SL...try THIS METHOD (https://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=121587&page=2&p=2682424#post2682424) ....or at least keep it in mind when you are ready....easy peasy :cheer:
I preferred it to FEYES (https://feyeselftrim.livejournal.com/) to start and then later used both to fine tune my hemline.
S&D will have to wait a little longer ;)
