For people whose natural sebum production is on the low-end, is there a way to increase it?

Scalp massages can help get the juices flowing, as well as making sure you're properly hydrated and nourished.
But if you already do those things..... I'm not sure. Never thought about it! I'm more used to hearing about too much sebum...

What 0xalis said, and waiting longer between washes :)

Avoid washing the sebum out. Dilute shampoo and apply once (do not repeat). Or, use water-only washing.

I use water-only washing. I find that my scalp produces the right amount of sebum. That really isn't very much, and daily combing removes any excess (it is a fine powder).

Taking a tablespoon of flaxseed oil every day makes me an oily monster

Diluted ACV on my face, makes my dry face produce some oil instead of none at all. It might work for the scalp too?
