Three years LHC: darkwaves

I started growing my hair before I joined LHC. By the time I did, my hair had reached shoulder length -- 18" or 19".

In the years here, I've trimmed away a lot of damage (dye and bleached highlights; it's mostly natural now), and gradually moved towards a straight, rather than U-shaped, hemline.

It's now 30" at the back,a bit below waist if stretched, but the biggest difference I've noticed over the last year is at the front, where my hair now falls just a few inches from my waist. No pix of that, but here's the progression.

My photography skills clearly haven't improved much. (Maybe I need new batteries for my camera.)

Honestly, I'd tried to grow past shoulder-length before, but couldn't get my hair back long again pre-LHC, as I had no idea how to wear it professionally. A ponytail was all I could manage before I joined and bought toys! (And also found such great encouragement and friends.)
