I'm on mobile and spliced between every post is as advertisment, some of the banner ads now block content as well. It really makes the site feel trashy, is there anything we can do to make it like it used to be?

A couple of ... eh, not solutions or fixes but 'things you can do':
On mobile you can disable JavaScript for the site, but that may mess up some functions.
You can report the intrusive ads (click the triangle/exclamation mark)

Other than that, nobody's found a real solution for mobile/tablet yet.

I've noticed that too! I'm glad it's not just me

In the interim, check your browser for the ADBLOCK extension.

I use it on Google Chrome with my laptop and have ZERO ads.

But because my block does not bring in revenue for the forum, I donate 1-2x/year :wannabe:

I'm using firefox on mobile (android) and installed an add-on called Ghostery. 0 ads.
