Does anyone have a list of conditioners that are silicone free but also protein free?

No but I think it would be a good idea to start one, wouldn't you want protein free in the title? Because we have a silicone-free product list somewhere already, I think... if I'm recalling this right. :hmm:

Yes, am I able to edit the title?

Nope; ask the mods maybe to change it to what you want? Very simple & easy to do, just report your own post then write in the text block what you want it changed to.

Yay the mods were on it pretty quickly :cheer:
Garnier Hair Food masks (whatever variant they're called in your country)
Love Beauty and Planet (not sure if all are, check ingredients first)
Inecto naturals
Some of Garnier Ultimate Blends - varies by country so check carefully
Faith in Nature - some BB conditioners have amino acids (tiny proteins) but their 'normal' conditioners don't
Suma
Mother Nature's Goodies
UK £1 shops / Savers tend to have a good selection
That's all I can think of for now.

Faraniel, I'm almost never sure on protein. I only tend to notice when it says "keratin", or something along those lines.

I've just looked up a few different Urtekram conditioners and they didn't have protein.

You'll also find collagen, amino acids, hydrolysed xyz, silk protein, or oat/rice/quinoa/wheat protein (often hydrolysed). Sometimes individual amino acids will be listed, e.g. alanine, glycine, cysteine, lysine, serine, valine, etc.

Noughty Wave Hello conditioner is silicone free and I think it’s protein free, but I’m not sure. It feels protein free to me (I’ve recently realised my hair is quite sensitive to protein overload).
Here are the ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Coco-Caprylate, Glycerin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Phytate, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract, Laminaria Digitata Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Crithmum Maritimum Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Now that I think about it, im kind of curious about protein free conditioner with silicone, because I am not strictly silicone free. Im getting better looking at labels and being able to recognize. There are some im still confused about. If it says keratin, is that protein?

True, I had no idea it is a thing. At least I have never seen it stated on the product. I have started to buy stuff at a shop that is focused on organic products and they have filters like no paraben, no alcohol, etc but nothing with protein.
I checked the ingredients and I didn't see any protein but I know that sometimes it can have a different name.

May I ask what what is the benefit of a no protein product?

Some hair is sensitive to protein, so it can be useful to either use no protein, or to be able to control the amount one uses e.g. only in one product, or alternating protein/no protein, or saving any protein products for an 'as-needed' basis rather than in one's regular routine.
Also if one's hair is suffering protein overload, the best option is to avoid any protein until the hair is happy again :)
