Howdy! I suppose this is probably already on LHC someplace, but I just found it:

You know? Personally, I really don't want to have the world's longest hair. I read someplace else that that lady has to have a hair attendant with her when she goes out in public. I kind of like my freedom to be independent. But it's fun to dream of setting a world record...

Put it on a crochet braid and it'll just look like normal long hair ;) (seriously, HeavenlyTresses did twin Dutch crochet braids on her well-past-floor length hair and they ended at, what, barely APL or so. I can't remember exactly.)

OK. That would make it doable (if possible). She does have some gorgeous shots in her album! :thud:

The crochet braid is awesome! I learned it from gossamer and decided to try a french/dutch style and it worked out great. It's easy and so much quicker than a normal braid and eats up the length like crazy! I think if I couldn't take care of it by myself I would cut it back to a more manageable length.

Thank you so much! I have had several people ask me if I'm in the Guinness Book of World Records and I say Oh no, not even close!

I've started doing crochet buns. Yes, crocheting one's hair makes it about 1/3 its real length. Since my hair's "short" (about hip-length, really) I can do 2 or 3 crochet stitches with my pony-tail, and then I'm done already. 8)

And then there's Asha Mandela, "The Black Rapunzel", with the world's longest dreadlocks. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_3781219?test_ad=readmo_test
