Anyone growing out from a pixie?

Hi gang. I used to be a long hair a long time ago. I've had extremely short hair for about 9-10 years. I'm just getting started growing it out and trying to take really good care of my hair, knowing it'll be my ends eventually! I'm planning on getting microtrims around every 10 weeks or so to keep it from getting damaged and just cutting the back to keep from getting a mullet. I'm going to henna it soon to keep it strong to grow long!

Anyone else growing out a pixie? How's it going? What's your plan?

Hi! I’m growing out a pixie too. I’ve done this multiple times before, but my favorite way to get through the awkward phases is to put your hair in two tiny braids, using styling products like wax, gel, or hairspray if necessary to keep them from falling out. I’m not sure if linking pictures will work, so I’ll add a link to the pictures on my insta too.
