Vit C oil?

Any idea whether this would be appropriate for hair. I happen to have some for my face.

I was asking myself the same since I use Vit C oil on my face but then I read that Vitamin C can lighten hair and I'm dark brunette and want to stay very dark...

The only thing I've heard about Vit C in relation to hair is to use it to remove hair dye, and that is known to be rather drying.
