Rice Water?

I've seen a lot of stuff on YT about rice water boosting hair growth. Rice apparently has some really good stuff in it including proteins.
Have you tried this? What did you find?
What are your thoughts - do you think this works?

I have tried it only once and wasn't very impressed. I'm still on the fence if I can be bothered to experiment more but it does seem that lots of people have had really great results!
