Bangs or not? (Pics) (curly girl)

Well guys, I think I want bangs.
I’m entering the workforce and thinking of a new look.
My oval face beckons me toward blunt eyebrow length bangs. But: my hair isn’t dense, nor is it straight (buns just stretch curls). It’s not quite fine either so I don’t know how much hair they’d have to cut to make that ah.. work.
Also, southern humidity+curls= Are you sure you want bangs?
Ideally: I don’t want to use heat on them either. Just Velcro roller whenever possible..? Maybe olaplex over them once a week to save them from the damage of daily Velcro and daily BB brushing.
Maybe get the confidence to rock some weirdly malformed curly bangs? Dunno.

I love bangs on you, so pretty! I love curly bangs too. Go for it, if you are ready to commit to bangs and the maintenance :heart:

If you need a change, go for it! The bangs look good on you, but you don't need them. You look fine without also.

I don't think bangs look very good with curly hair, but that is just me. If you want to, go for it definitely. Good luck. ;)

I have rocked bangs in humidity and in dry weather alike.... I think you would look really cute with bangs but when they're literally curling AWAY from your forehead in the humidity it's not so fun, haha. (I think the key there is not letting them get too long?) That said, I love having bangs and would never give them up so it's worth it imo. I think as long as you wear the rest of your hair curly, bangs will look at home on you even if they're unruly. You just have to be okay with them not looking exactly the same every day.
(You do look nice without them though! You could go either way and look good)

Hmm. :hmm: I think I like you without bangs better; but that is just my personal opinion. I don't really know why. I think it looks more "flowy" on you and is just better with the rest of your hair. IMMHO! :flower:

I think bangs look great on you, and they work with your face. If anything, I'd ask, are you ready for maintenance if you make the change? Also, I'd cut them more thin at first, so you can blend it with the rest of your hair and it's no that great of a change. You can add more hair if you feel comfortable with it later! Your hair is very pretty btw, love the color and how flowy it looks.

Your hair is so pretty! Khristopher gave really good advice, go with thin and long bangs to begin with and adjust them over time, don’t cut them too thick nor short (specially not too thick, I did that and am on the process of growing out just part of my bang, that’s more annoying than growing out a whole fringe believe me haha) :)

Agreed. I think it's a pretty and flirty look for you but you do look much, much younger with bangs. Depends on what you're going for!
