Amodimethicone is a silicone.

I thought so, thank you. Is there such things as some silicones being better than others? And if so is there a list or a link somewhere?

Yes it does. Nice shampoo. Amodimethicone doesn't build up, so should be ok if your scalp can tolerate cones.

So far im doing ok with the silicones. I didnt use them for years before my bleach damage accident. And now im probably going to need them until it mostly grows out

Amodimethicone is one of my favorite silicones. As mentioned, it doesn't build up on itself, so looks like a nice shampoo.

Yes, Amodimethicone is a silicone. I agree with Yiva. Amodimethicone is also my favorite silicone too. It does look like a nice shampoo.

Whole Blends is a nice line. Not the heaviest on the sulfates (Pantene & HE are harsher).

I agree it's not a bad silicone and you probably could do with the slip with the recent damage. :flower:

Here is a virtually comprehensive list of silicones and their effects:

I love the honey conditioner. :) I have the olive one now on my ridge in the bathroom. But have to finish a whole slew (4 bottles) of Schwarzkopf repair & care conditioners first - also very good, but it seems you can't get those everywhere. It's not the Gliss Kur line, just their less expensive line.
