I sat on it !

I keep my hair up in a bun pretty much all the time.
Last Wednesday we had a work Christmas dinner and I wore my hair down with some of it in a barrette in the back.
Well...I sat down in the chair and to my surprise I had to get up again - and move my hair - because - I SAT ON IT !!!
Probably just a small bit but still...I was pretty excited !

[That's a milestone even non-longhairs understand, I think - I once had an Auntie say to me 'ooh, your hair's so long, you'll be able to sit on it soon!' (I was at mid-thigh by then :laugh:) but even before LHC, when it never got past TBL, people used to ask 'can you sit on it yet?']

Last time I could sit on my hair I was only about 5 years old... I can't wait till mine is long enough to be able to again, but it's a shame it takes so much longer to reach that kind of length with an adult-sized body, haha. Congrats on the milestone! :D

Yes, I also believe that too! I know it just patience and good hair care! :) I have a aunt that used to wear her hair that long. She hasn't worn her hair that long ever since high school I've heard. Til' this day I've never seen her with it.
