Hi,

I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a decent salon in London, who will be sympathetic to a longhair-in-progress?

I have found a salon which is also a colour specialist and they seemed to understand I didnt want any cutting done, or even discussed, but I wondered if anyone in the London area had their own recommendations.

Thanks,
Lovi

(Oh - the one I found was 'Amadeus' on Theobalds Rd in Holborn, fyi - they seemed to discuss colouring and growing hair with me in a way that covered things like 'minimal damage' and 'minimal trimming' - so that's good.)

Isn't there a George Michael salon in Harrods?

Im afraid I dont have any reccommendations but I'll be watching the thread, knowing somewhere good in London would be great in case I want a proffesional cut in future to even up my self cut (wonky probably) ends :)

Is there? I've not seen one before. I'm going on Friday anyway so I can find out...

LOL, one of the reasons I started to grow my hair was the lack of a decent salon in London, period! I especially do *not* recommend the Tony & Guy chain...

Isn't there a George Michael salon in Harrods? Not any longer, it closed a year or two ago and is now located as Flaxen detailed. Still, that's no reason not to visit Harrods. To describe Harrods as extravagant would be an understatement ;) and is certainly rather fun.

Thanks for asking this question. I tried Googling for this salon last week and couldn't find it. Never thought to search LHC. How silly of me!
