Hi everyone :) I noticed recently when my old Yes to Carrots conditioner finally ran out and I had to buy a new one that my hair became super dry. Normally its my holy grail conditioner and made my hair look and feel great! So when I checked the old bottle vs the new one..
.the ingredients were totally changed. :(

Is there any conditioners similar to the old yes to carrots?

Can you post the list of ingredients which you liked? I have no idea which ones online are old and new.

Not sure if this is allowed! I made this post a long time ago, but bumping it to see if anyone knows a dupe or similar conditioner to this? The ends of my hair are absolutely awful, and I use no heat, no dyes, only finger combing gently and I only brush my hair with my TT in the shower when my hair is loaded with conditioner.

I can't seem to find a conditioner that doesn't make my hair awful. I've tried SO many, from expensive salon ones to drugstore ones but can't find anything that comes close to the old Yes to Carrots conditioner. Hoping someone here can recommend a conditioner that is similar or that might work with my hair type. I have dry, thick hair and having an issue with my ends currently. I also recently trimmed them with sharp scissors, still no difference. I am waiting to do a big chop and see if its possible to find something that can help. I've tried light oiling as well. Nothing is working :(

No recs for a conditioner, but just a quick question, if you hadn't already thought of it, but have you clarify-washed lately, yes even putting shampoo on the ends!

^ Seconding what Lapushka said about clarifying. That’s always a good place to start.

Also I was just poking around some beauty supply stores online, and saw some of them have carrot conditioning formulas. Have you tried any of them? Here’s one that I saw. And the other 2, Mirta Balsam and Lafes Earthly Delight are my go-tos when I am desperate. If I had to pick one just one to recommend, I’d probably go with the Earthly Delight (there were some LHC members a while back with thicker and drier hair than mine, and I recall them really liking it also):

Arciela, have you ever tried the Inecto coconut conditioner (no silicones)? It's not a bad one, and I think it might compare.

Thank you for those product recs! I'll definitely pick them up and give them a try :D

And yes I have clarified and washed my hair from root to tip with Pantene Volume Shampoo, did a SMT and it did help a little!

Can you get these? Have you ever tried the Garnier "blends" line. It's called differently all over the world. But their "hairfood" aka "treats" masks are amazing, doesn't really matter which one you get, whatever you have access to (banana and papaya, do recommend). Also silicone & paraben free as well if you mind that ingredient. And they smell really great, and do wonders for drier hair. I have oily roots, but my lengths can get really dry. And this is super stuff!

I wonder if it’s the Behentrimonium Chloride that you liked so much in the old conditioner. I believe it penetrates the hair shaft.
