I’m looking for a new shampoo that is gentle on my scalp. I have sebhoreic dermatitis and was wondering what the best shampoo would be for this ailment

I also have SD, the scalp needs to be kept very clean. I've been using sulfate free shampoos for awhile but once they are gone, I'm going back to my old favorite, suave daily clarifying shampoo. Unless you have other reasons for avoiding sulfates, I'd recommend any cone and oil free sulfate based shampoo you can find.
Conditioner is a lot harder for me, seems almost everything makes my SD act up. At this time, only accure conditioners don't cause any issues.

Agreed, SD usually requires a thorough cleanse. I use suave daily clarifying also, and then T-Gel, for what it's worth. I have never officially been diagnosed but had scalp issues for years until I went with this routine.

What about Uterkram? I think it's quite mild

I feel like shampoos with perfume in them dry out the scalp and hair, because perfume contains alcohol but I’m not sure of the formulas that shampoos with perfumes use and they aren’t allowed to state what ingredients are in these perfumes as it’s a trade secret

Scents in beauty products aren't alcohol based like body perfume is. Finding unscented shampoo can be hard but I have seen them on amazon, can't remember a brand though and I know nothing about the other ingredients. For what its worth, the suave isn't heavily scented.
If you are in the US or Canada, look into Acure. They are scented with natural essential oils and contain no animal ingredients, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, silicone and animal testing.

I don't have SD, but I have a sensitive scalp that gets itchy easily.
I have several shampoos in use. The harshest one is my purple shampoo by Fanola. Then, I have a gentler sulfate shampoo, Natura Siberica Oblepikha Intensive Hydration Shampoo. Finally, every now and then I like to be completely sulfate free, and right now I use a shampoo base by Mother Nature's Goodies where I have added some essential oils. In the next mix, I will also be putting JBCO, because I like the slip it gives while applying the shampoo.

If I get SD, I have to treat it with medicated shampoo, that means Nizoral 2%; it works well for me. In between bouts it is indeed about keeping the scalp squeaky clean. I weekly wash with a harsh sulfate shampoo and that keeps it at bay quite well for me. I weekly wash because I only get oily say on a Friday (or thereabouts), and then there's Saturday to contend with, and Sunday = wash day for me.
I found out by "accident" that a harsh sulfate is the way to go. But everyone's right, keeping it clean = the most important, not walking around with oils on the head for too too long, and also not "oiling" the scalp, or "conditioning" the scalp in any way!

Where do you live? :) I feel like that would help with suggestions if you are looking for a specific brand.
Maybe look into the kids shampoos? When I first heard about sulfate free trend and wanted to try it, I only found shampoos meant for kids with sensitive skin.
If you have access to DM drugstore (some Europe countries) I recommend Alverde Ultra Sensitive.

I dont know much about that :/ sorry but I use either suave clarifying shampoo or my concoction. Then I use a moisturizing shampoo but its pretty greasy for straighter hair textures

If you have access to it their is an Australian brand called A'kin Alchemy, they make a shampoo for sensitive scalps. I think it's just called 'mild and gentle' they have a big range of products but this one is sulphate and perfume-free.
