Hair Dilemma

I have a question for all of the hair experts out there...

My hair is really short at the moment... I am growing out a pixie cut. I have been reading on the board about going x number of days without washing, using conditioner only, etc. My problem, however, is that I have sebborheic dermatitis, and it seems to bother me a lot more if I go more than a day without washing my hair. It seems to feel better if I wash frequently, but it does dry out my hair.

So... in my attempt to grow my hair long... I was wondering if anyone could offer advice for maintaining the condition of my hair... and growing it faster... without aggravating SD? Is that possible?

My advice would be to go to Chagrin Valley's website and get the Neem and Tea Tree shampoo bar. My son has S/D very bad, and nothing cleared it up but that. He washes every night, and his scalp is now clear.....his hair is soft and gorgeous.

you could always put shampoo on your scalp only and let the suds rinse down the rest of your hair, this will clean the scalp and be gentle to the ends:)
