hey guys,i haven't posted in a while but i missed you all so much i have been lurking in most of the threads all day and you all have perfect progress.this encouraged me to post my hair pictures lots of pictures.although i don't have that much of progress length-wise but my hair itself changed.
before LHC my hair was extremely damaged because of abusing it with heat for many years.i lost thickness too because of hormonal changes, breakage and trichotillomania.i consider my hair to be the most damaged fragile hair ever and having fine frizzy hair naturally made things so much worse.one day i was straightening my hair as usual when i saw how my hair is very thin(the thinning didn't happen overnight but that day i payed so much attention).in that day i decided to stop using heat for a while and to completely transform my hair.i did expect overnight progress,i thought that if i cut 3-4 inches off i will instantly get rid of thin hair but i was a moron
here are the pictures and sorry for the bad quality
my first picture:when i trimmed some hair off but still it's damaged

seeing this picture i decided to cut my hair,

i'm happy with my hemline now . i microtrimmed my hair a lot throughout this year and it is worth it.i'm planning on microtrimming my hair every 3 months to keep my ends thick.

Looks great. And with 9 cm circumference, your hair is thick!

I think you can about stop trimming now, as it seems you have regained almost all or most of your thickness in the last picture. Quite a journey. I am sad to say, I have been there when half of my hair (BSL to hip) was thinned out due to massive S&D due to heat damage (white dots). I had it cut back to BSL at that time and went on from there.

It looks great now! :D

Your hair looks very beautiful and thick! Such a big gain in thickness, too. I'm jealous! :) I can't wait to start microtrimming my own hair, but first I must reach my goal length.

Nice result. If you like thick ends, get small trims on a regular basis to maintain them.

lucid and sarahlabyrinththank you so much!i'm really happy with the thickness and i expect more as i still have a thick fringe and babyhairs in the front and back of my hair that seem to be growing.

lapushkathank you!:)this journey started in june 2017 and i can't count how many times i trimmed my hair because i did it a lot.as an example i trimmed it twice in september,i wasn't pleased so i decided to chop it in september too lol.i'm addicted to trimming and i freak out whenever i see my ends getting stringy.

ylvathank you!:)i'm the jealous one because you have beautiful hair.microtrimming for me is key to healthy hair but you should be really patient because i wasn't that patient and ended up cutting alot.

spidermomthank you!i love thick ends now,i used to believe that having long hair even if it's damaged is better than having short healthy hair.

Thank you so much. I am trying my best to be patient and grow to classic before I trim, but it's hard sometimes and I just wish I could start the process of getting rid of the damage already. But I just try to put that energy into scalp massages and trying to support healthy and fast growth instead. :)

just be patient and try not to listen to haters as well.my family and friends were really so mean.they kept on "your hair is thin","it's not pretty" and "the only way to start having healthy hair is to shave your head".i just hated to look at it because of their words.yes,i ended up chopping a lot but i have APL+ length hair which is not that short.
