I am very interested in learning about spirituality. As strange as it sounds, I was reasearching haunted dolls when I stumbled across spells cast to encourage healthy hair. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or tried it?
nayver

Hi! I also like all the spiritual world thing, but I have never heard of a spell for healthy hair. I think the equivalent will be taking care of hair with natural products, trimming hair at certain moon phase, etc. Sorry for not helping you much.

Hi!
Hmmmm? I dunno?
I do know a lady in CA who belongs to a "pagan cult" where the ladies are encouraged to let their hair grow to terminal length?
I dunno if they have an email or not??
But then, spells can be DANGEROUS!!!

Yup there are a few about, some as simple as visualising the hair you want while brushing it, repeating an incantation at the same time.
Candle spells, charging crystals...using moon phases, casting a spell on hair oils....really you can create lots of different spells.
Personally i keep meaning to do the visualisations more while massaging my scalp or brushing....quite a nice thing to do i think.
As for spells being dangerous.....something like this really isn't likely to be a problem, it's not like experimenting with complicated ceremonial magick and invoking things willy nilly.
Robbie, just because something is pagan doesn't mean it's a cult.....that's quite a negative word to use and you might find some pagans take offence.

I agree. Usually you can do a spell with almost anything. As ChloeDharma said you can use candles. If you look at it very simply, Even churches that light candles when they pray are doing a simple type of spell.
A spell really boils down to putting your thoughts and energy toward something you want to manifest.

PeaceWithTrees, personally, I would be very interested in what you found. I'd also love to hear about the haunted dolls!

What if some of their hair grows faster then others?
Or they had long hair long before? Do they cut it back to start over to be able to show how long they have been in the group?
Just wondering

She never told me that? She just said that most of the oldest members have hair below their thighs? I think she mentioned some of the men do also???

Ah i see, odd choice of words from her....but then again i never really "got" that whole Coven thing. I didn't think you was deliberately trying to offend anyone, which is why i thought i'd bring it to your attention :flower:

I doubt very much there's any spell which can actively make hair grow, but a little positive thought cant do any harm ;)

I just wanted to chime in and say that a spell or a prayer or even meditation in my mind is simply the story you tell yourself. And in a larger sense a spell is the story you tell others. When you slander you cast a negative spell all around yourself and the object of the slander.
When you focus your intent in this way you can change the kind of things the mind is capable of changing. Since the mind does control the body function, if you were to put this kind of focus on your hair, I believe you might be able to help the growth within the limitations of your personal body.
