They are yarn wigs which sort of sit on the head like hats. A lot of the ones on the video are thick princess-like braids. They are making them for children with cancer.

Too common, I guess. It's easy to get carried away in the thought that everyone's connected. Or maybe leayellena didn't know you can't see most FB content if you aren't a member.
