I'm curious to see how wavy or curl it looks while wet vs. totally dry. Mine looks longer and wavy but springs right up into ringlets after totally drying.

Mine is curlier when it's wet and more wavy when dry....not too interesting.

Sorry for no pic, but whenever I am about to get wet (say, swinning) I always have a bunch of eyes and half-grins awaiting the moment to see what happens.

My hair obviously isn't big and fluffy when wet, but is still in ringlets most the way down

From a while ago, obviously, but approximately the same length.

My hair looks MUCH darker when wet, and it's not quite as curly. Also you can really see how thin it is, except for the first 6-9" of each curl where it isn't all broken from peroxide and cone abuse..

Erk! I just washed mine earlier and it's already dry. Sorry! Mine looks like 2a/b when wet, but curls up to 3a when dry.

This is half-dry, and has probably been tied up for a bit. The lower section shows how it is if I haven't tied it up. I love curls, but right now prefer to tie it up, as my curls take off a good 4 inches from the length - as it is, the waves take off another couple of inches, as you can see from the picture!

I can't get a good pic because my hair is black when it's wet. When it's wet wet, it's straight. As it starts to dry, it becomes curly. It's slightly wavy after I've brushed it. The next day, after I've slept on it all night, it's straight to slightly wavy. It's basically all over the place. LOL

No pics because I already washed my hair today. Sorry.

My hair is straighter and less frizzy when it's wet. When it's 50/50, it's 2c/3a and quite frizz-tacular. When it's dry it's 2a/2b and only frizzy in the under layers.

Straight when dry.

There was a thread like this some time back.

Mine is a bit wavier when wet too. It straightens out quite a bit if combed.

Wow, that's quite a difference! Is that an uncombed, untouched dry? Maybe you have waves that straighten easily?

I'll have to post the picture later on since I am at work. But when wet from the shower - straight, especially when combed. I twist my hair to make my bun tight, so when I let it down after work, it gets wavy and I have tendrils that aren't so much curly like ringlets but wavy curly all the way down.

Grr...once again my post was lost due to being kicked off forum!

Well here I go again...My hair when wet from the shower is straight and full of tangles, unless I comb it out in the shower. After having combed out the tangles and applied my Garnier Fructis Style (something about smoothing and shine...milk) and start to wetten my hair a little bit more...the ends appear to be trying to curl...

{EDIT: Actually, my post disappeared under the second page...haha, didn't realize that were three pages all ready!}

This is mine, when wet there are some very vague spirals:

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=44&pictureid=21820

when dry lots of curls are lost:
http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=44&pictureid=22414

I can keep a the front spirals if I put aloe vera gel in my hair, but the rest just doesn't stay.

this is my latest hair picture, and most of the waves have completely gone:

I can't get a brush through it at all until its dry.

I have always thought you had pretty straight hair but that pic of dry no combed with the waves is also very nice. I never knew your hair was wavy.

It's a secret... ;) Just kidding. But, in all seriousness, it takes aloe gel, oil, and an insane amount of time for my hair to dry wavy. If I left it wavy all the time my hair would never dry (since I wash it at least 5 times a week). It's so much quicker if I comb it straight. Besides, the few times I actually wear my hair down it is for LHC length shots... So, I want it to be straight to show how long it really is.

Not to answer for her but I remember reading JJJ's haircare routine on her page and she said she straightened her hair. And I got so encouraged then I tried to straighten my hair too and after 45 minutes of blow drying, my hair was still wet in some places and frizzy and dry and horrible on others so I just let it go *lol*
My hair's wavier than hers though, that could be why...

BTW my hair's kind of wavy when wet and looks longer than as it dries it gets some curls especially at the ends and become curlier and puffier if not braided immediately out of shower.

I get more defined spirals, which bounce up and stay when dry ... until I put my hair up. ;)

These are a couple of pics that have been in my albums since earlier this year. I don't have a full length shot of my hair when it's wet.

Having hair type 1a means it looks almost the same when wet as when dry. The color tends to darken, then lighten upon drying.

I don't have photos of it wet, but it's very straight with slight curves on the ends, where water drips on my butt for the next some odd hours. Sigh :/. It also gathers together in about 4-5 giant, ropey pieces of hair. It doesn't get stringy, just very ropey is really the best way to describe it. It will twist around itself at about neck/shoulder level, too. So I usually shake it around and lift it at the scalp with my fingers to open up the ropey bits.
