HI all,
I cut my hair too short a few weeks ago. It is horrible. Like a pixie gone wrong.. looks like a bowl cut, but than a really short one. Tried to correct it with two other hairdressers. Ending up in even shorter bowl cuts. For some reason my hair pops up into a bowl model. horrible.
Only way out is growing it and not letting a hairdresser touch it anymore. I miss at least 5 cm for a cute pixie cut, so a long way back to a bob.
Now, my main question. Because of the short hair cut I suddenly see a lot of grey hairs (am a brunette) in the underlayers that were previously covered.
I did not dye my hair for 10 years because a PPD allergy ended me in the hospital back then.
I dont want to be greyish and have a horrible haircut (and 7 months pregnant).
My options are: elumen (covers grey partially), oliebe (based on plants, but Always a warm undertone), henna (don't like red or reddisch, this does not suit me)
I want my own brown colour but without the greys.
For those who use elumen:
- Are there nice natural colours that don't make the grey hairs a funky colour. I want it as natural as possible?
- Will it damage my hair. I need it in good shape to grow
- It it really free of PPD?
What to do???
I am going to a hairdresser for a patch test today for Elumen, but have a hard time trusting hairdressers after I was horrible cut so many times.
Hope for your advice...
Hugs, Lina
