What are your favourite cruelty free hair products like shampoo conditioner and leave ins? Preferably sulfate free and as natural as possible. Write what the product is, the brand, what's it's good for, if it's sulfate, cruelty free etc and if it's international.

Some of my favourites at the moment. Milkshake nourishing shampoo and conditioner. They're sulfate free and cruelty free and are great for my hair type (frizzy dry) and they're in UK and USA. Smoothing line from Aveda, great for frizz, cruelty free, sulfate free, international, and natural-ish. For leave in my go to is the innate life rose hair elixir it's as a above, smells heavenly, penetrates the hair well and holds in moisture, costs a lot for shipping though because they're from canada. I use Tek wooden brushes and combs they're the best thing I've ever used, really good quality and well worth the expense. They're Italian so it'll cost for shipping but they do sell on Amazon in some countries.

I really like Shea Moisture. I am currently using their deep treatment packets and all of them work wonders for my hair. I might go back to their Shampoo and Conditioners but the ones I am interested in are not sold in my stores so I will have to get them online.

I've never tried Shea moistures shampoo and conditioner but I tried their leave in and hated it. It was very gloopy, unnatural smelling and just greasy. Maybe the other products aren't like that though.

Can't comment on the leave ins as I have never tried them. But some of their products can be pretty heavy. The Raw Shea Butter masque in the orange jar is heavy for my hair, but if I use it before shampooing I can get the benefits of the deep treatment without the greasy weighed down look since I wash most of the product off. Also the smells can be very inconsistent. Sometimes one jar will have a slight scent, then the next jar I buy will be so overpowering it is like dipping your hair in perfume.

I don't particularly "do" CF products, but I do have some.

I love Shea Moisture for my stylers, the JBCO leave-in is heaven, as is the Curl Enhancing smoothie curl cream.

I also love Eden Bodyworks (not sure if it is CF), Every Strand, Aunt Jackie's, and Cantu.

Apart from my styling products, I just use your typical cheap(er) drugstore shampoos and conditioners.

A lot of drugstore brands are CF along with some salon brands.
Some that I use are:
- Shea moisture
- Live clean
- Not your mothers (i like the naturals line personally)
- Hask
- Devacurl
- Kinky Curly Knot Today
- Maui Moisture

I have a few deep treatments from garnier that are vegan ingredient based.
But the company as a whole is not CF unfortunately.
But that is a list of brands I have personally tried and liked.
A lot of brands that arent cruelty free for whatever reason tend to use ingredients that my hair does not like -for whatever reason
But I have been cruelty free for years now. And these are the brands I like.

Kinky curly! I've used Shea moisture products too but they are too greasy. Kinky curly products are very light compared to SM.

I now realize that my statement that I don't particularly "do" CF products may sound a little... haughty. I just have a budget, that's all, and I just buy what I can afford. That means that my budget goes first, then I worry about the rest. Hope that sort of clarifies that statement. I didn't want to come across as if I didn't care, because I do care.

For my stylers for instance, I need to buy "higher end" things, as stylers you just can't find in a regular drugstore (bar from a few leave-ins maybe). But Shea Moisture for me is high end, as it costs around 17-22 euro a tub in the EU, so for us it's not a cheap product. And I have a choice there, so that's when I do look at CF, for some of my things at least.

Currently loving Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner right now. It is expensive, but you need a very very small amount so it lasts a very long time. I’m also using their hair beautifier as a leave in:)

Briogeo - my favorite hair care brand.

Directly from their site;

"Briogeo is 6-free hair care; meaning formulas are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, DEA and synthetic color.
All products are 90 to 100 percent naturally derived and packaged in bottles that are both recycled and recyclable.
Briogeo formulas are cruelty-free and mostly vegan and gluten free also."

Prices are similar to the Milkshake products you use.

I feel like I mention these products all the time but anyway :grnbiggri my favourite shampoo is Suma Clear and Simple, they're a UK company and you can buy their stuff in most wholefood shops. It's not sulfate free but has a really short ingredient list, isn't too expensive and is certified cruelty free. I also really like Pure Nuff Stuff's conditioner, it's the most natural conditioner I've ever found, but they aren't certified any more for some reason though they say nothing has changed and most of their stuff is vegan. They're another UK based company and you can only buy their stuff online or from their shop in Cornwall.

Chargrin Valley has a pretty expansive list of vegan shampoo bars to pick from. That's what I use anyway.

I don't use a lot of hair care products. My favourite cruelty free hair product brands are Giovanni (USA) and Druide (Canada). I use a natural ash wood brush with wooden bristles and a green sandalwood comb.
