Buns in JCrew

Um. Hair buns, of course. I don't know if anyone else noticed this but when the recent JCrew catalog arrived along with all my other paper-spam, I realized that it was full of models with their hair styled into bun-like shapes. Particularly in the section on party dresses all but one woman seems to have long hair tied up in a low bun or chignon sort of thing. Most of them seem to be styled with a bit of volume at the crown, an effect not entirely dissimilar to Nightshade's looser bun technique (although I imagine the JCrew stylists wouldn't hestiate to backcomb or whatever to get the effect). There's also a little girl with a cute side braid.

Anyway, I wanted to share just because I always like seeing the (rather unpopular in non-LHC-world) updos that I use in supposidly fashionable contexts. Maybe we're not just bucking trends, but creating them! ;)
