A couple of days late, but I can't believe it's been 9 years! And even more shocking, I still haven't reached my goal of floor length! (I came to this forum with classic length hair.) Measurements and pictures to follow soon! Has anyone tried a mixture of onion liquid and aloe vera gel for hair growth? (I know, getting desperate if I'm willing to make me smell like an onion.:rolleyes:

Update! Unfortunately there is no new hair growth, it may be even shorter than last year?! Picture, not really brushed very well:

Happy anniversary!! Wow, such a long time here! Seconding don't try the onion thing, I tried it and the smell stayed for months! And I only did it once. Crazy, right? Normally wasn't an issue on dry hair but whenever I got my hair wet, the smell would emerge again, yikes. And I didn't notice any effect on my hair.

I tried onion once a week for a month, I didn’t have an issue with lingering smell, but it did not have any effect on growth.

No, don't go there with the onion... unless it's for consumption. My mom always makes our weekly soup starting with a few onions, browned and then the veggies go in.
