I don't care much for my natural hair colour; it's a soft black/black-brown hair. I've been dyeing it for years, gave it up for about two years after dyeing the rest to match my original hair colour (went a little too dark), and have started dyeing it again. I really like red hair but I'm not sure how well henna will show up on my natural hair colour.
So, I'm looking for pictures of pure henna on naturally black (coal black, soft black, black-brown, etc.) hair. I've tried searching through past threads but so many images are wiped that it is is hard.
If it helps, red box dye takes really well to my hair; even when the dye claims to be all cool tones/has no red, my hair still shows red. And yes, I know I can do a strand test but I also know how messy henna is (we used to henna our hands/legs for Deepavali all the time, and gods was it messy) so I'd like some idea of what it would look like before I try a strand test.
I'm not looking for henna mixed with indigo. I'm mostly interested in 100% pure henna. That said, I am curious about NightBlooming's Enyo and Kitsune mixes. My natural hair colour is in between the two darkest natural shades listed though leaning a bit more towards the darkest one.
