November 2008 measure in

It's the evening of November 1st here, and DH just measured my hair, so I thought I'd start the measure-in thread off.

I've reached 44 inches, so that's been half an inch of growth for me last month! Woohoo! :disco:

Because I am very near 30 inches, nothing is happening...
29.5 inches last month, 29.75 inches now. No trims.

During summer my hair "spurted" and grew at a normal persons hair growing rate :p

I just measured and I found out that I've grown whole inch in half a month!
But I suspect the measure is just a bit inaccurate, although I really really hope this reflects my normal growth rate. That would be just fantastic for me :grin:

33.5 inches - up 0.5" since last month. It's somewhat less than expected, but not too bad. I decided to skip the trim this month, because I'm so tired of being lost between waist and hip. It's probably a bad idea with my breaking ends, but the breakage is not as bad as it was during the summer, so hopefully I'll gain some length anyway. I think I'd rather maintain hiplength for a couple of months than trimming anymore before I get there.

I'm in a stall; still 23.5 though I could probably exaggerate some of the strands and say 24. I feel like it is longer, but alas the measuring tape does not lie. :(

I'm measuring in at 35, it's been so long since I measured though I can't remember what my last measurement was? It's probably been about 8 or 9 months or so?
Plus I've had two mini trims since the last measurement?

Last I measured my hair, in June, it was APL at 23-24 inches (after a big cut back from 29"). Now it's just barely 27". 4" in 5 months, I'm very happy with that.

28.5" - half an inch! My hair now rests on the bottom of my strap even at it's curliest, and pulled straight, it's almost two inches below :D

I've gained only .5 inches over the last two months, but this slow-down happened around the same months last year. I'm at a solid 26 inches though.

An unofficial measure showed me at 35.5". Which is barely hip on me. Then again, this was done on hair that was bunwavy, so...

I've reached the big 3-0! Up from 29.5" last month.

yay!! I couldn't wait until it was time to measure, lol I recieved funny looks when people asked why I was excited and I said that it was because I get to measure my hair tomorrow.

My length is now 2.3'' I had almost an inch of growth this month! I'm completly extatic now because this means the time I had calculated until I reach my desired length can be cut almost in half!!!

I hope this month's measure in makes the rest of you as happy as I am!! :)

My hair has grown about 1 cm, it's now ~57 cm. (22,4")
I trimmed a little at the end of last month, shaped my hemline into a very gentle V, and still got almost 1 cm growth, this is huge to me!

Which is really weird, because half a month ago my hair was at thumb-joint-length. Which is like an inch shorter. An inch growth in half a month!? So weird!

I had my hair trimmed last week, which was a good thing because I'd forgotten that the bob I was growing out wasn't even all the way around, but instead was shorter in the back. So I'm more even across the back now instead of having an inverted U. BUT that means that my hair is back up around APL. Woe. On the other hand, my side bits are almost totally my natural color, with just an inch or so of henna tint left on the ends. I hadn't realized it had grown out so much!

I'm coasting with an average .5", which puts me at 36.5" I guess I'm hovering at "Can I Call This Tailbone?" because TB is 37" on me.

Still, growth is growth, and I've been doing a LOT of S&D (the weather has been wreaking utter havoc on my hair), so not a bad month, all in all. :)

I had a good month too! I'm now at 14 1/2". So I got a half inch too. Every bit helps at this stage.

My length was 51 inches as of this morning and my hubby trimmed it back to 50.08 because I am maintaining for a while.

I just wanted to say that there is a real different in the fullness of my hemline. I have been maintaining since summer and quite a bit of that old weathered stuff has been trimmed off. Also, trimming really does work in creating a fuller hemline. I am really curious as to what this next year will bring (other than more white hair :)).

It's shooting hairs on the lower left side of my head at 3/4" per month. I'm now at 21.5"!! :eyebrows:

I'm at 24.5", so 1/2" growth. I plan on trimming a little next month before my cruise and then maintain at 25" untill all the layers are gone. By next summer I should be at my goal.

In the beginning of October I measured 25 1/4, and I just measure today 11-11-08 at 26 inches.
So 3/4 inch in 6 weeks. I couldn't find my tape measure.

29 inches. Up 1 inch from last month. :) I hope my hair keeps growing like this (1 inch every month for the last 2-4 months). I've never paid attention to how my hair grew in winter so I hope it doesn't slow down like some people. Keep this up and I'm thinking by Christmas I could be sooo very close to my goal!

For whatever reason...I measure on the 12th of every month, to stay consistent w/ my measurements. I started measuring regularly in July. Anyway my DH measured my hair to be 21". But it may be longer since there was some wave towards the bottom, I may have to re-post my measurement tomorrow. But I'm happy with my progress!

September: 19 7/8"
August: 18"
July: 17.5"
