Starting Over: Progress Pics, 1 year after buzz cut!

Hey Lovely People,
So, I'm happy to celebrate a benchmark, in that it's been one year since I buzzed my hair completely~! I thought I'd share some pics with everyone, since I knew you'd understand my happiness...

Okay, so this is last October when I buzzed my hair:

And this is one year later (the second one was taken today). I've trimmed the back to prevent the dreaded mullet grow-out look, so the length isn't entirely the same as would've been if I hadn't trimmed it at all, and the curls make it seem shorter, but...you get the idea!

Thanks! They're actually the reason I buzzed it in the first place...I had dyed it, fried it, and basically abused my hair to the point it no longer curled and resembled the hair I had when I was younger! I'm glad to have them back.

My daughter's hair is growing in now (she's 3) and its very curly. I really hope it turns out like yours.

We just bought a book .... "Curly Girl". It has a lot of useful info in it, like HOW to cut curly hair and how to wash it to keep ringlets, etc. :)
