I am absolutely in love with Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Cap System. It leaves my hair very well moisturized, and almost frizz free. The problem is, it's 36 USD for four treatments.
It's a two part system that contains a packet of their deep conditioning mask, and an additional cap (like a shower cap) lined with oils that goes over your hair after you've applied their mask packet. You leave the cap on for up to half an hour (10 minutes is enough for me) then rinse. It's the best deep conditioner/mask I've ever tried.
Since I already have the deep conditioning mask, I was hoping to make the cap, but I'm not sure where to start. Buying cheap plastic shower caps is easy, but then how, and what to line the cap with?
Here are the ingredients for the cap:
Water, Algae Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Abies Sibirica Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Laurus Nobilis Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Coco Glucoside, Sorbitan Oleate, Algin, Chitosan, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, C20-22 Alkyl Phosphate, C20-22 Alcohols, Polysorbate 80, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Aminomethyl Propanol, Fragrance.
All the oils, like orange and lemon peel, are they essential oils that I can use in Argan oil? What can I mix it with to line the cap and have it stay and not drip? Is this possible to make?
