sides dont grow at all!

All of my hair is growing great, the back of my hair is at the bra strap, but the sides have not grown a bit, even after trims, been like 5 years, any professionals out tgere that know why? I dont know how to submit pictures?

Do you mean the sides by the temples or the entire sides of your head?

You say you’re getting trims. Are you sure that the hairdresser isn’t cutting of the entirety of your new growth?
