Hey-o :)

Do any of you have experience with Real Rapunzels? They have a website and Youtube channel. A friend has been approached to model for them, and wanted to know what people thought, or if they had modelled for them? They claim to pay 50 euros on receipt of a 10 minute video-clip.

Thanks in advance to everyone who replies to this thread :)

Never heard of their company, but looking at their website, youtube, facebook, I get a creepy vibe although they aren't overt about it. Who buys videos of beautiful models with long hair? I would have your friend ask to view a few of the full-length pay for videos and see if she is comfortable with the content.

Hmm I've found some of their videos quite creepy as well I don't know why, maybe because I feel they sexualize their models but that's just my opinion (and also there's nothing wrong as long as they agree with the terms of course).
If she is going to sell her image I would advice to be very careful reading the terms and conditions, you really want to know with what end, where, for how long, etc they will be allowed to use your image.

I got curious, and looked up a random video of theirs. LOL I watched this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrfP4x01ixA) and my goodness was that uncomfortable! :rollin:
I got weird sexual vibes from the video, and I only watched the first 2 minutes, yikes. I honestly didn't know this was a thing...

Anyway, please be careful. There are all kinds of "interesting" people out there who would come to know your face and hair in perhaps not the most innocent light.

I also wouldn't do it because they'll make way more than 50 euros on the video on their channel, either by posting the full thing and getting ad revenue or by posting a clip and then offering the full thing after a pay wall.

If you were to get into that sort of thing, may as well make as much as you can, instead of taking a small bit of pay for someone else to get the rest of the profit.

(This is from the perspective of one knowing about the more f*tishy aspect of the channel, and being fine with that.)

I agree with Glitch. I saw a YT video months ago from that channel. It came up in my suggestions after watching hair videos. I got the vibe in a sexual way. ****** type. I thought it was a site showing off long hair and just promoting it.

If it does not feel right it probably isn't. Unless that is something your friend wants to do. Follow the gut instinct.

I was talking about this channel the other day. I agree that it is a bit creepy. The comments under the videos are very uncomfortable, mostly men wondering how to contact the models. I don't see how making a video of young girls brushing and playing with their hair is anything else other than for ****** profit.

I think you would be better off creating your own YT channel, TBH.

I think... stay far far away, but that's what I get from this. Some channels are not that great.

I'm going to jump on the wary bandwagon. Money for being in a hair video seems cool, but think about what type of people pay for videos of women doing anything, especially showing off parts of their body. I've had their videos pop up on Instagram and I get a creepy vibe watching them, then I scan over to the username and then realize oh... that's why this is oddly sexual, because it's from Real Rapunzels. Plus once you put your face out there, you can never take it back, and people can interpret the video however they want even if you don't think anythings wrong with it. I would tell them not to do it.

Well, I got approached by them last week actually, and by others before too, and I knew about their channel and facebook page before they even got in contact with me. As I said before, long hair is hugely ******ized, if you get into youtube and type long hair you will see tons of erotic content, same thing in the erotic cinema, as there are specif themes like bondage or heels, there is also long hair related sexual ones.
So yeah they make a good profit out of it. I once commented on one of their posts on facebook saying that they do not like long hair unless it is on a young girl.
Back to the subject, I politely declined and said that that was not my thing and I can very well show my hair on my own terms and make some money out of it and not having others profiting from it.
Do their videos get more exposure, oh yes they do. Alena's videos have millions of views but I do not have to pretend that I am a clothed porn star like in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDhISgLWKaA&list=PLO81oVfAfmmAE9npGl2Ya8ng1n2jOEpDq

Is the other girl even old enough to be doing that?
I mean it shows nothing wrong while showing something wrong, right? The cheap soundtrack, the way they move, we all know what that is about... and I have nothing against it, I am not even prude, I have my ******es too and these girls are paid to do that, they agreed to do that but on the other hand, the more these super long hair ladies keep using their hair like a sexual object and let it be exploited like that, the more we all get seen like that too.
I think if your friend wants to make some money that is probably a start but she can also have her own channel and have a patreon support or even the full length videos on those websites that you pay to see, Aliia does that and we all know who buys that kind of content, but at least she gets the money and she has taste in her videos.
Nothing wrong in being sensual but with class I would say.

I still think you can do without it, I mean JJJ as the most sensual and elegant videos ever and she does not need to go around making these cheap poses, just the way she moves her hair or the high heeled boots with her ends curled trump all of that pseudo sensual bs.... you know it is all about common sense. I have a channel too, I know lots of guys might use it for intimate purposes but I do not cater to them and I do not do anything I do not want to. Then again, I guess RealRapunzels is still better than the Indian ones where there is explicit sexual content or the Chinese ones where the girls are in a random hotel rooms getting their hair razored for the camera.

They sure find out all the insanely beautiful manes of the world, some of them are not even that cringeworthy and you get to enjoy the ladies' hair.
