Salon cut after 2 yrs &10 mos no trimming!

Hey guys, this will be a fun (for me lol) photo post. :)
In 2015 I decided to grow my hair long for the first time ever, after growing my latest pixie cut into a tiny bob. This was my starting point which I've shared before:

Fast forward 2 years and 10 months later, with nothing but search and destroy, and here was my hair this week:

Today I got a salon trim with a bit of layering, and it was a huge success! She totally listened to what I wanted, and did a subtle but very much needed trim and shaping. https://i.imgur.com/5416cRj.jpg

I'm so happy with my hair now, and plan to go at least a year again without trimming. I was SO NERVOUS to trust someone with my hair after years of growing and being in control of it, but I'm really happy I did.

Hopefully this will help someone who might be looking for pictures of no trimming, or inspire someone to brave a salon cut... maybe.😄

Aww thanks for the sweet compliments! But don't be jealous! It's hard to manage, very fragile, I have a very harsh hairline that recedes really deep at the temples, and sometimes I'm jealous of hair you can comb through and put up without ruining curl patterns!!!
