I choose to always tie my hair in a simple low ponytail when i go to sleep. I usually use a regular hair tie(not rubber bands!) but i noticed that the certain tie somehow looses my curls the next day and i dont like the way it looks like. I have some telephone wire ties and i'd to hear your advice on them if i can use them and if they will help my curls stay in perfect place :)

I don't find the phone ties to be comfortable so I use the folded ribbon hair ties.

As my hair got longer I changed from a low/loose ponytail to braids and that keeps my waves/curls better (I apply biosilk lite serum before braiding).

I liked a single english braid but it would flip in the night and cause weird wave patterns....the same with a side braid. ..... so I switched to 2 pigtail braids.

Others have bunned their hair for curls or done rag curls, but that is too curly for me and uncomfortable with my neck/scalp sensitivity.

I would use a scrunchie, or tie a bit of fabric around the pony (loosely).
