Hello all! After many years of bobs, pixies, bleach, and bangs I have cut out the last bit of it and am committed to growing long, healthy, natural hair (experimenting was fun, but I am ready to live my long hair dreams). I've been slowly chopping all the damage out over time, so I've also been lurking on LHC periodically as well and finally mustered up the courage to make an account. As a almost 22 year old busy college student from downstate New York, I want to carve out time to routinely take care of my locks as well as my mind and general body. So my hair is just one facet of my attempt to take care of myself as best I can :D Thanks for reading my spiel, see you all around!

Hello! I'm 32 and spent the last 10 years with pixie-ish hair, the last of that 4 years it was bright purple. My hair is just touching the tops of the trapezius muscles. I needed to stop getting bleach on my scalp, so I'm growing out the purple but hope to keep purple ends looking fresh and healthy. I'm just not ready to let go of the COLOR! Good luck with your goals!

spurple I think keeping the ends dyed is such a good compromise, no itchy scalp bleaching or potential breakage. I had the ends colorful for a while but unfortunately had to cut it off for a job and just decided to go virgin completely from there. I loooooved manic panic, I was always either blue, pink, purple, or any combination of those, it was so much fun!
