January 20, 2018 - I was a solid WL a bit longer at 74.5 cm
February 4, 2018 - 79 cm
I'm seriously amazed! That's 4.5 cm growth in 15 days! I'm not sure if that's good but for me it is. My hair is what I would say damaged by my standards, henna on a regular basis then stopped for the fall followed by more flat ironing. Had there been henna from the roots down, there would have been no problem. I went into full damage control and extensive henna treatments after seeing a bit more breakage than I would like. I've use no heat, had 4 henna/indigo (2 henndigo, 1 2-steps) since Jan 1, spritz coffee on my scalp, used rosemary EO with castor oil, inversion for 1 week, oiled my ends and kept my hair up for the most part. I sleep with my hair in a braid sometimes but often just leave it loose. I've also tried S&D a couple of times. I was surprised there weren't more split ends but each time I found a few.
I don't expect this growth rate to continue but I'm happy. My hair has changed with using MSM and now more frequent hennas so the flat iron really isn't needed. If anything it might need a curling iron LOL! I wet bun then leave for a few hours before letting it finish air drying for nice body.
I'm doing a full 2-step henna/indigo tomorrow. I might add a third step hibiscus. If I can keep this rate of growth up while retaining length, I should be at HL by March and TL before June. Oh, I am so going to be treating my ends with kid gloves!
