I finally broke down and bought the Beauty Love and Planet Tumeric and Indian Lilac and Clove conditioners - they smell so good! Almost picked up the rose (but of course) but I used self control. I need to use up two more conditioners before I can buy one, so I say.
I also have the ylang ylang oil which I really liked, which is why I got the conditioners. I'll use one the next time I wash and see how I like it.

Ok...so I did a quick search before buying my latest conditioner, and found no mention of it here on LHC. I have only been using the shampoo and conditioner for about a week or two, but am LOVING THEM so far! Palmer's Zero Break Cleansing Oil Shampoo and matching Conditioner. https://www.palmers.com/coconut-oil-formula/249-zero-break-cleansing-oil-shampoo.html and https://www.palmers.com/palmer-s-hair-care-products/250-zero-break-strengthening-oil-conditioner.html Has anyone tried them yet? What sold me was the zero silicones and sulfates. My hair is feeling really good, the conditioner is making it nice and and tangle-free. Oh! And it smells SOOOO good. Just my two cents ;)

Chiapomama, does the Cherry Blossom smell at all like the BBW Cherry Blossom to you at all??? Please and thank you. I would LOVE to have my hair smell like BBW Cherry Blossom. Mmmmmmmmmmm.....
Don't know . I've never smelled the BBW one. Love the smell of the Suave one though. I always say it smells like heaven. 😍

lilelf, I would describe it as a generic, light, sweet floral scent. Nothing close to the heavy musky BBW Cherry Blossom.
I just finished a Herbal Essences Color Me Happy conditioner. I only bought it because of the rose scent, worked fine.
I'm currently finishing my small bottle of Dove Daily Moisture. Always makes my hair feel lovely.

As a note, these smell so good but I did not like at all for my hair. I tried the Tonka and Tumeric one today, and ended up just washing again and starting over. I'll try using it as a leave-in, I don't think I could use these as shaving cream because so much fragrance could cause my eczema to flare up.

Loribelle, I have been tempted by that line. You may have just made up my mind for me. Thank you. :)
Chiapomama, thank you for responding. Will have to smell in store. :)
The-Young-Maid, will DEFINITELY have to smell in store. Not a huge fan of overt florals. Loveee the BBW Cherry Blossom, though. Thank you for responding. :)
Once again, sorry for all the multiple posts....and for the tome that is this one.

I'm using BWC Daily Benefits Conditioner. It has done wonders for my dried out fragile ends that were splitting. I chopped off a couple inches last year to get rid of the splits, and started using this conditioner, and have not had splits since, other than a couple, but nothing like before. I did that a few times, where i had to cut off 2-3 inches, but the splits kept coming back. I think this conditioner has truly helped. It's very moisturizing.

lilelf- I loved the Bath & Body Works shampoo & conditioner before they discontinued it, I used to buy the Cherry Blossom ones, and I also liked the Coconut Lime. The Suave is supposed to be a dupe, but I agree it’s lighter/ fruitier and not as musky, but still nice! I like how the Suave shampoos and conditioners don’t cause build up. They keep reformulating them, but the ones currently in stores, I like :).

Shea Moisture’s Black caster oil is what I’m currently using and have been for a few months now. I love it.
I also love the black castor oil conditioner! It says "strengthen and restore" I think-- use it all the time on my ends and formerly dyed hair, and I think it's a big part of why they're in much better shape than they otherwise would be. I'll probably be using it until all the damage is grown out of my hair, which will be a long time unless I do a chop.

Renia, I sadly never got to try them, but heard good things. I don't know ehy, but I have never found a suave scent that I *love*. They always smell off to me..I'll sniff the cherry blossom and see.. I love incensey stuff too, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.:D

I know what you mean. The cherry blossom isn’t bad. The scent doesn’t really stay in your hair anyways, if you don’t like it. The Bath & Body Works did, I’m bummed they discontinued the haircare! OGX has a cherry blossom one too. I haven’t tried it because their products don’t work on my hair, but it does smell good :).

Sigh. I liked HE HH but it was too good to be true, each time I used it my hair felt like it had a drying film once it was dry. It was great while in the shower but after, not so much. I don't think it's the bis-amino propyl... I've used other products with that ingredient and though I wasn't a fan, i don't recall those exact symptoms. It's got too much fragrance to use as a shaving cream, but at least it was cheap.
I just tried tresseme coconut milk and aloe Vera and it was promising. I'll wait for the 3 use rule to decide if it's a keeper.

I like this Cuban brand, Mirta De Perales. It’s kind of old school; reminds me of what products were like in the 80s. This balsam conditioner is a repeat buy, and the rinse I have not tried before. It contains silk protein and seems like it might be light/ good for fine hair. I’ll try it tomorrow:

Well the smell is incredible, it’s like this passion fruit/ watermelon kind of a scent. However, I think Ulta had it for 1/2 price because they changed it, the new one is Hibiscus and more floral smelling (I saw both in the store, and I prefer the scent of this one). As a conditioner it’s not terrible, but not quite detangling enough. I wouldn’t use the matching shampoo because I prefer the regular type of sulfates, but most of the shampoos I have in the house are too clarifying to use with this. So I ended up getting the Herbal Essences passion flower shampoo. Kind of stinks when you have to buy something new to “fix” a product and get it to work properly, but this combo is actually pretty good :).

I'm working on using up the Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe Mask as my second conditioner but man, I just can't understand why that expensive piece of a** is so useless. My healthy hair is fine with pretty much anything, but this does next to nothing to my damaged ends. They're constantly tangled and I can't run my fingers through them at all. They just get stuck a bit past my shoulders. But at least it works better like this than as a mask. :shake: I'll still have to alternate it with better options so that my hair doesn't totally give up on me.

I looked that up just for :poop: and giggles, and there’s actually quite a bit of protein in there (13th-20th ingredients). That might explain why.
~~~~~
I bought a big tub of the Garnier Hair Food papaya mask and then discovered it actually doesn’t do much for my hair unless I use it in addition to one of two Live Clean conditioners.
This is the second time I’ve been impressed by a conditioner only to use it without the LC and then quickly realize the LC was the real star of the show. The first one was SM Curl and Shine conditioner, which was seriously underwhelming. I think I might stick with LC from now on. We’ll see.
There is, yeah. My hair shouldn't have a problem with that, though - especially the ends that it did the least for. :shrug: And the part that doesn't need much protein (above my shoulders) was the happiest.
Pity that didn't work for you! It's so weird how much our hairs' preferences differ.
Right now I am using a brand called Hawaii. It is produced by Schwartzkopf and comes from Israel. I found it in a Kosher grocery in Philly. I have the Keratin and the Nectar Nutrition varieties and I have to say, I love it. The Keratin Version smells just like Twilight Woods by BBW. The scents are very strong, so not for the sensitive. And they contain parabens, unfortunately. At least the ones I have....but NO silicones. :)
Just switched to Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner yesterday. I couldn't believe how little I was using
and it was still flying everywhere! Insane slip and moisture, it's white (previous condish had
dyes), it smells great, and it's cheaper. Definitely hanging on to this.
The SheaMoisture ACV conditioner that I've been using as a DC has protein, and I just bought a
Mane and Tail olive oil complex with protein in it too. I want to try a DC with no protein, and
I'm thinking I might as well just use the Aussie conditioner next DC to give my hair a break from
all the protein. I can't find a deep conditioner that isn't ridiculously expensive, and if a DC is just
moisture + heat... why not?
Yvli, I really appreciate your comment. 🌝
Unfortunately, thou, I am finding I am sensitive to many harmless lab-created things, so I do worry. My body has a bad habit of overover-reacting when it shouldn't. Lol. But maybe I will be lucky this time? *fingers crossed*
As far as I know I don't have issues with parabens but I do have problems with other preservatives, namely methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone - they cause skin irritation and breakouts/cysts, so I avoid those two.
Maple Holistics / Honeydew conditioners! Specifically Silk18 and the Mint & Tea Tree conditioners. I think all their conditioners use a similar formula so they're all probably similar, though these are the only two I've tried so far. I switched from Nexxus a few months ago and prior to Nexxus I used Pantene or Head & Shoulders 2-in-1, or whatever was cheapest/on sale at the store. So not a ton to compare to, but these are by far the best conditioners I've ever tried. My hair is much softer and tangle-free. After washing my hair I only use a wide-tooth comb once after squeezing the water out, and I don't have to brush or comb my hair after that for the rest of the day or even the next day. My hair is straight and pretty slippery though, which probably helps in that regard. But before I switched hair products I'd have to brush/comb a ton more often and detangling after washing was really annoying.
for those of you that use silicone conditioners, do you clarify before doing oil treatments?
I use conditioners with silicones and I also oil my hair 2 times a week pre-poo, overnight and I do not clarify.
I do use keratin treatments (brazilian blowouts) every 2 to 3 months, so this is the only time I use a clarifying shampoo, before the treatment.
I've been using the Aldi one for CO and the Lush after using Jason and the Argan Oil shampoo bar. The Suma I was using with their lavender shampoo but it's not moisturising enough for me.
I end up spending a lot more than necessary on hair products because my local drugstore has a pretty poor selection, so I always order online from Sephora - just because its easy for delivery where I live. Does anyone know where to get V05 in Canada? I'd like to give that a go, since so many LHCers seem to sing its praises, but don't think I've ever seen it here.
I have tried my first Pantene conditioner, ever this past Sunday. And to my utter surprise, it was "meh". I had truly expected so much slip and smoothness and softness; it was a let down. I tried the "soin & vitalité" conditioner. It's old, but it is for dry and damaged hair. Maybe I should try some new ones, that they perhaps improved the formula, made it a tad "heavier".
Pantene has actually been changing the formulas recently. Before, it was literally the same formula bottled under different labels. That was heavier. Most are now unique to their line, Beautiful Lengths is pretty meh now. Repair and Protect seems like the nicest/heaviest.
I've just started a bottle of Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship.
I don’t think we have that one in the States?
Before they changed them, I liked the Classic Care and Damage Detox. They weren’t heavy, but they had a lot of slip. Since the scent change (not sure if the formulas have also been tweaked or not), I like the Micellar Water. That one has slip, but it’s not heavy. I personally have found the performance to be different depending on which ones I was using (some being similar to each other, others not so much); some I loved, and some I didn’t like at all.
Wow, that's surprising to hear. I had been thinking about trying it myself because my sister and mother both swear by it.
Right now I'm using an Argan Oil conditioner by Hask. I'm not super impressed, but I like it well enough. It definitely helps keep my waves from turning into a big poof and adds some shine. But I'll occasionally switch it up.
I started using Hask because their conditioners don't feel heavy and greasy (hate how traditional conditioner feel on my skin when I shower),
but they aren't that great at making my hair feel super soft. For that, I have to use a deep conditioner.
Very recently went sulfate and silicone free, trying to embrace my hair being what it wants, which is curly. The silicones, while I love them, were making my hair crunchy. Anyhow, I’m using Living Proof Perfect Hair Day conditioner. For something cone-free, it works really well compared to the others I’ve tried over the course of the last 15 years. I believe it’s also protein free. A little goes a really long way, so the price doesn’t hurt too badly. I wash and condition twice a week, so I think this bottle will last me 3 months or so. My hair isn’t long though, just maybe APL right now, so I can get away with using very little. What I appreciate about it might also be what others consider it’s downfall: my hair just feels like hair after. Not crunchy, not silky, not artificially smooth, but actually like my virgin hair would feel (I imagine). It detangles and smooths but only just. Which I actually prefer, I want my emollient and fortifying treatments to come from the oils I use, and occasional Olaplex 3, not my conditioner.
Prell is owned Neoteric Cosmetics now, the same company that owns Alpha Hydrox products and Batiste dry shampoo. They brought back Prell conditioner, and it’s totally different than it was the last time. No more mineral oil or dimethicone, pearly white color and spreadable texture, same shampoo-y gardenia-ish scent as the shampoo. I like it:
Haven’t tried it yet, but I wanted a vanilla scented conditioner without Shea butter or heavy oils like coconut. Maui Moisture Vanilla Bean and the Cake Beauty line smelled really good, but unfortunately had those ingredients. However I saw this Aveeno conditioner, and the ingredients look okay for fine hair, and it smells vanilla-ish. The probiotic claims are silly, but as long as it doesn’t weigh my hair down or do anything weird to it, I’ll be happy:
For a while now, I've been comboing the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Papaya mask with the Garnier Respons Coconut Milk & Macadamia Oil conditioner, both holy grails of mine. It gives me very soft and moisturised hair!
I love these too and have been using them with same good results. The coconut milk and macadamia oil conditioner is awesome.
I used the L'Oréal Elvital Extraordinary Oil conditioner today, and... I don't know. It had great slip and my hair was nice and soft while wet, but the more it has dried, the less moisturised it has felt. It's not 100% dry yet so I can't say for sure, but for now, I'm not entirely sure. I have a few of these in my stash and they'll get used up, but I just might have to wait with the unopened ones until I have more virgin hair, because, well, my virgin hair is happy with anything.
I thought I would never try this one, because I tried the mask and was not impressed. But here I am trying it.
So, I'm on holiday, travelled with hand baggage only, thought I can buy whatever shampoo and conditioner I need then, my DH wanted to help me to choose products (look, these ones says oils, have to be good for your hair), and these were cute small bottles too. And then I accidentally bought two conditioners instead of a shampoo and a conditioner (I purchased one shampoo later).
And they are working ok, no problems in performance, but... they smell like a bad breath!!! And the smell lingers...
That stinks! I remember you saying you are trying to use up some stashed conditioners. Have you ever tried using them to shave with? I've been using rejected conditioner for shaving my legs for years now. It gets a really nice shave for me. YMMV though of course. :)
I use an electric shaver everywhere, jane_marie, never a blade. :)
I should just remember to follow my first conditioner up with a heavier one, that might already work. I had been using them for both conditioning treatments lately, and obviously that's not that great. :(
But it took me a while to put 2 & 2 together! That's for sure!!!
This is how I keep my hair! I read somewhere that most of the damage to hair is done by detangling so I try really hard to keep it very slippery so it doesn't tangle much. I wear my hair down or braided most of the time though
With dimethicone, by the morning after washing, my hair usually feels very weighted down and slightly crispy! The ends also tangle more than usual, which kind of defeats the purpose of using the silicone for me. My guess is that it is too heavy for my hair so it becomes a not-so-good type of buildup. With amodimethicone, my hair feels less weighed down but it doesn’t seem to impart much slip. Bis-aminopropyl dimethicone or silicone quaternium 26 seem to work well for me. :) :) I know what you mean regarding too much slip & hair escaping updos….tricky to strike the right balance! Haha :heart:
The Illuminating color conditioner was pretty good performance-wise. Soft, fluffy, silky hair. Not all that moisturizing and the fragrance was like dryer sheets, though, so I won’t repurchase! :) :)
Yes and I think that's true. I used to get very matted hair during a hair wash and I had to rip through it with a brush for half an hour. It led to horrible breakage. So having basically no tangles at all after washing is like a miracle to me.
After my original comment, I bought and tried a conditioner that only had amodimethicone and I got the same impression: not too much slip. So dimethicone seems to be responsible for the magic on my head :magic:
I read that amodimethicone is recomended for damaged and processed hair because it's positvely charged and has therefore a higher affinity to damaged hair that often has a negative charge. Maybe my hair is less damaged than I thought. Or maybe the overall formulation was not compatible with my hair.
Glad you had some success with you conditioner. I hate it when I buy an unknown product and then can't finish it because it doesn't perform or smells obtrusive.
Mostly Whole Blends Legendary Olive. I’ve decided to dabble in cones though so I’ve also got the Giovanni 2Chic avocado deep treatment and Aussie Total Miracle to rotate in. Dimethicone and bis-aminopropyl dimethicone, respectively. I’m also eyeing Garnier Triple Nutrition to try out amodimethicone too, because why not. My hair doesn’t seem to be really picky so far but I’d like a little extra slip for detangling as it gets longer.
Now that I've finished using Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hyaluronic Moisture Kick Treatment I'm unsure whether to go back to a cone free conditioner (I've avoided using cones since 2007) or continue experimenting with coney conditioners in the hope of getting slippery hair that I can comb or brush easily.
Regarding amodimethicone, I purchased a 365 Whole Foods unscented conditioner a while back. Not sure what the issue is with it, probably the formula in general just doesn’t work for me, but I noticed the one silicone that it has is amodimethicone. The stuff is terrible, completely useless on my hair. I thought I’d like it because my hair is fine and not that long, but nope..
Bought several bottles of Kinky Curly Knot Today the other day even though I’d never tried it before because it was on sale. I used it last wash to detangle in the shower, followed by the Aussie, and the combo gave really nice slip and shine. I also just got a bottle of Shea Moisture Strengthen Grow & Restore on sale, which I’m excited to try next wash. Haven’t experimented in ages and I’m set with my scalp routine, but I’ve been feeling really indecisive with my hair and a little harmless conditioner hoarding seems better than doing any rash trims :lol:
I’m in a similar boat, Ophidian! I haven’t trimmed in ages and have been experimenting with conditioners lately. I was really content with my prior conditioner but the formulation changed (replaced beeswax with guar) so the slip wasn’t as great anymore. I can’t really just pick up any drugstore conditioner, though, since I seem to be sensitive to most fragrances(parfum) and also somewhat prone to dermatitis. I tried to do this, but it wasn’t really successful! The essential oil based fragrance or ones that say natural in parentheses instead of parfum, generally tend to be better though. They are just overall more pleasant to me, too, on average. For instance, Giovanni 50:50 is totally fine even though it has fragrance. It says ‘natural fragrance’’. Anyways, I have a dermatologist visit this week so hopefully she will be able to provide some insight in that regard. Enjoy your new conditioners and I’ll be interested to hear if you find new ones that work well for you!
I hope you get some helpful feedback on your ingredient sensitivities from the derm, Ashtangi! I haven’t had major issues with any specific ingredient but if the fragrance is overwhelming or smells bad to me it gives me a headache and I can’t use it. Probably I miss out on a lot of effective products because of this, but it is what it is :). I do stick to low scent products on my scalp and skin with the exception of my Avalon salicylic acid shampoo, but so far the essential oils in that haven’t given me issues. There is nothing worse than finding something you love and getting blindsided by a reformulation. Some companies are so cagey about it too which makes no sense to me.
I’ve used Kinky Curly Knot Today as the first C in my WCC experiment for the past two washes, and I think I really like it. If nothing else it is good to detangle in the shower with. The lilac smell isn’t my most favorite but it’s not terrible and doesn’t seem to linger.
The second C is currently up in the air. I’m testing different cones, which I haven’t used before. So far I’ve tried Aussie 7-in-1 (bis aminopropyl dimethicone), and Giovanni 2Chic avocado/olive oil deep treatment mask (dimethicone). The first made my hair feel very slippy and moisturized, but with the second it felt a bit snappy when I fingercombed. Don’t love that. Going to try Garnier Triple nutrition (amodimethicone) and Herbal Essences coconut milk (another bis aminopropyl dimethicone) next.
I've experienced the same thing with dimethicone, Ophidian. It leaves my ends feeling snappy and I get better slip and a more moisturized look from conditioners high in BTMS (like Giovanni 50:50). Bis aminopropyl-dimethicone seems to give pretty good slip for me, but I'm not using silicones currently. :o
I am using the Garnier fructis conditioners. The silicone free ones. I am using strenght and shine for the first round and a heavy conditioner intended for curly hair (Hair Food, cocoa butter) as my second condtioner. I have learned that lightweight conditioners don't work well for me although I have fine, non curly hair. I don't find that it weighs my hair down and my hair seems happier with that in general :-) I often find myself liking the conditioners intented for curly hair.
I also have a Loreal full resist power hair mask.... but every time I use it I am dissapointed. Probably because of proteins. It does the same as coconut oil to my hair - it gets crunchy. I don't like not using up my products!
Right now I’m pretty married to Long Hair Don’t Care for my first conditioner (I WWCC) but sometimes I’ll use Ecoslay’s Banana Cream if I need something heavier or am doing a deep conditioning treatment with heat. Second C is something with dimethicone; my fav is Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa conditioner, but I’m using up some Pantene that is adequate but not as great at the $3. TJ’s one and definitely smells worse (to me.)
- Rossmann Isana silk gloss conditioner (seidenglanz), this is protein heavy and €0,75 per bottle of 300 ml. That price cannot be beaten. My hair sprung up like nobody’s business, it was awesome. I’m picking up a couple tomorrow on my groceries trip I need to do before my friends wedding.
- Rossmann Almond Milk hair mask, same story really. Not as cheap but still. It works great!
- XHC Ginger conditioner. It has hydrolysed silk protein and I like the smell of ginger. It’s also quite cheap. Next week I’m trying the banana conditioner, I hope I can hold on to my positive streak xD
I alternate between multiple conditioners but my current fav is Garnier Ultra Doux Moisturizing Hair Food.
However, I have switched to silicones lately, so I’m on the lookout.
Any coney conditioner/mask recommendations in that price range?
I currently have three conditioners in my rotation:
Cone free (for SMTs and mixing with herbal treatments) - Suave Natural Wild Cherry Blossom Conditioner
This stuff is shockingly tricky to find. When I see it, I hoard it like a squirrel. Smells amazing in an SMT.
Daily-use (after every wash) - Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner
I believe this is very similar in formulation to an old favorite of mine, Pantene Ice Shine. It at least contains my favorite cone of all, bis-aminopropyl dimethicone. I can use this every single day and get zero buildup. I love it!
Heavy Conditioner - Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner
This is an excellent conditioner and I like it for whenever I can't be bothered to do an entire SMT (which I usually do for about half an hour). This is heavy enough that I try not to overdo it. It's also been tricky to find lately, though...
Bonus - Joico K-Pak Reconstructing Conditioner
My favorite protein treatment.
I used a conditioner from Urtekram yesterday, with ginger. I had to use so much, but my hair is very soft today. I'm back to trying cone free after a coney experiment lasting a couple of months. My hair has been more dry. Not from the cones per se, but I think it has to do with the fact that I CWC and good stuff doesn't penetrate my hair so well when I have cones building up because I don't shampoo them out every time. I have missed seeing the nice effect of my night long oilings pre-wash for example.
Tresemme botanique... it appears it's officially been discontinued! I have 3 bottles left.
I've also been using the garnier fructis papaya mask, but my hair just doesn't think it's the magic it used to be. It's useless in comparison to the aforementioned tresemme. I'm finally down to one large jar, I'll use and not repurchase.
Something also happened with biolage ultra hydrasource, it's label has changed and it's $37 on most websites. I used to get it only on sale for around $25.
All and all, I need a new favorite conditioner once I'm done with these.
Yesterday I used Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment (island fantasy scent) cause my hair felt dry. I’ve been using too much protein probably, didn’t balance it properly I guess. I’ve only got a little bit left, I gotta order some more!
Regular conditioner: Olaplex no. 5
Masks: Kerastase Blonde Absolu Cicaextreme, Nutritive, and Resistance masks. Might swap the Nutritive mask for the Elixir mask once I've used it up
Leave-in: Olaplex 6
Right now I'm using the L'Oréal Dream Lengths mask in place of a conditioner and it's working well.
I picked up the Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner yesterday and I'm surprised that it doesn't weigh my hair down! I love a good, cheap conditioner. Of course I'll have to see how it performs long term, but it seems promising :D
I am also using this conditioner, and I agree on it not weighing my hair down either. I don’t care for the matching shampoo though- are y’all using another shampoo with it?
I bought a conditioner bar from "Klar" (probably a brand that you will only find in Norway). It's not oil based, but has cetearyl alcohol and some other conditioning ingredient that I am looking for (I did not want an oil based bar). I am very, very pleased with it! Wish I had gone for a conditioner bar a long time ago.
I liked the conditioner from Urtekram that I mentioned earlier in this thread, but I just had to use SO much to get the results I wanted. And I read somewhere in this forum that someone who had struggled with having to use too much liquid conditioner had tried a conditioner bar and found they needed to use much less. Got me thinking about it.
Elvive color vive. Nothing special but it does the job.
I’m still loving Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa conditioner. The smell is nice and unobtrusive, plus it fades quickly. And it contains dimethicone, which my hair loves. Plus the price truly cannot be beat.
It’s been a while since I bought this, and even though the ingredients look the same, I could swear the texture and scent are a little different, and it doesn’t work as well as it used to?
I’ve been using Kirkland hydration conditioner, but it’s a bit too heavy for my straight-ish hair. Just started with Organik Botanik volume conditioner yesterday. Bought it on impulse at Marshall’s the other day.
Also started CWC yesterday after reading about it on this forum. Trying to grow out my bangs, which is a challenge, as they get damaged easily when pinned out of my face.
Using a Dove one, nourishing oil care, I think it's called. It's in a tube and it's *thick* man I can barely get this out the tube! That reminds me I need to cut this open before next wash day. I have had 2 uses of this, so it's plenty much down in that tube for me to cut it open OK.
Thick is a good sign, I guess? Less water and more concentrated ingredients? Never tried Dove before.
I am still enjoying my conditioner bar from Klar. It's a bit more tricky to distribute, but it seems to me that it will last me longer than a liquid conditioner. And it does make my hair soft. Like silicones? No. But my hair feels healthier all over after I stopped with cones again, probably because my heavy pre-wash oilings are now getting the chance to penetrate a bit more again. But hey, some people need their silicones, it just seems like it's better without them in my case....
I used this line when I was a teenager and I absolutely loved the scent! So much so that I can still remember it haha.
Currently I‘m using Korres conditioner for dry hair with almond and it’s fine.
Today I used Rossmann Isana Seidenglanz (silk gloss) conditioner, and this price cannot be beaten. €0,75 per 300 ml, and it has the proteins my hair needs every other wash! I love this stuff
I'm currently alternating between using Matrix Biolage hydrasource conditioner or Dae Monsoon Moisture conditioner.
I finished the V05 I had been using and recently combined a bunch of travel size and complimentary hotel ones all into one bottle. Started using that mixture on Thursday's wash. Those tiny bottles are annoying but I try not to waste.
