I know I'm a little overdue, but taking length shots in winter is like trying to catch a jackalope! This was a year of experimentation and some absence (sorry!). I tried poo bars, was off the forum for a while and pretty frustrated with my hair and its continued thinning, and fell back into bad habits while I was away. I'm back now, slowly nursing my hair back to health, and (tentatively) trying poo bars again. I have somewhat high hopes for white vinegar over ACV. On a more positive note: I hit TBL!! I also started an Instagram account, and got some health answers which may explain the loss of thickness! I'm on medication now, and fingers crossed my hair will recover...:cheer: I feel a little silly reposting the old pictures from my first hairiversary thread, so I'll just link it here: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=141246

I got a tripod! Oh frabjous day, callooh, callay!

I tried a soy sauce treatment, to great effect

I made what is probably the best cinnamon bun of my life, both now and to come.

I redid the braid from my previous post (and named it! "Turtle braid"!). Still hope to make a better tutorial for it at some point.

And here's where I am right now! I don't have much light, which is why it looks darker than usual. No, I didn't dye my hair! ;)

Thank you for all of your helpful advice and kind encouragement! I probably would have given up a year and ten months ago without the support of this forum! :blossom:
