Hey everyone! So I was looking through youtube last night and found this video to be very helpful. It's for visually hair typing along with a description of how each hair type acts, the general way it is cared for plus which oils are used for each. The list of oils are given at the halfway mark for each hairtype.

I've also found that Babassu oil (not mentioned in the video) is a great substitute for if your hair doesn't like coconut oil, it's of similar makeup and stays as a butter consistency in cold temperatures rather than getting solid like coconut oil. I could never make coconut oil work for me (my hair loves protein so its not from getting too much protein retention), my hair has always preferred argan, olive, avocado and camellia. Camellia is a great semi-penetrating oil which is very light.
