Now that my hair is getting so long, and healthy thanks to this site, where is the best place to get all these awesome hair accessories? Any online resources are best!

I guess I saw a link from where to buy hair accessories. It's in this website.

I asked the same question. Where to go shopping.

I was told that Nordstrom carries ficcares in stock, that knock off ones are often at Nordstrom Rack, and that one lady bought hair sticks on etsy though children's chopsticks are a good substitute.

Oh, and that some cheap plastic ones can be had at Claire's.

Claires occasionally has nice options that aren't 'cheap plastic' too!

I got some 3 & 4" 'wood look' claw clips (online and at the store) that were very pretty and well made.

They were from a BOGO sale 5 years ago and they still look/work amazing

I found a local dollar store that carries brand names like Conair and Halsa. Loving it.

But I still want better quality. And better selection. Something more than scrunchies and Bobby pins.

What do you think of this kind of hair clip? Can it be hair damaging? I have no idea if metal toys are ok for hair.

Claw clips are now my go-to because they very easy and comfy. I’m not used to heavy hair, and they help my weenie tender headed scalp adjust really well.

I use a Japanese hair fork very very often. I like it. But was thinking to get more accessories. I might buy a large Ficcare in the future, when I hopefully have a better thickness.

I used this type of clip from shoulder to BSL and had no damage. With longer length it sticks open over a bun which I do not like.

Well, I found it pretty so I bid on it on ebay.
I have to learn how to use it.

So many great deals on the swap. I’m sticking to the popular items you see everyone wearing, ficcare, flexi 8, acrylics. I have gotten a bunch now in the last couple months. From the swap. These are all tried and true brands that don’t damage hair. Just my opinion but my hair is fine and ii so every stand matters lol

Beautiful!! I just discovered Orangerium a few days ago (I think it was DweamGoil that posted about them in a thread?) and I immediately e-mailed them for a custom (moss and fern 6.5" stick!), I'm SO excited about it! They make such beautiful toys. Like a little world in one tiny topper. :)

I thought so too! :) I didn't think they would do customs, but they were SO friendly and enthusiastic about it when I asked them about a custom! I had actually wanted the moss stick that was in their shop up until earlier today, however it was much too short for me.

These really make me want super fancy toys! Mostly hair sticks though. Right now I'm just using an old wooden sculpting tool from college 🤣

Ah, you mean something with a personal meaning, which gives it character.

It does have character, that's true. But I think I'd be lying if I said it had great personal meaning. I just think I started using it because it was convenient and the right size, haha.

There's a Japanese market that I found that has a lot of hair products. I'm going tomorrow to see if I can find any goodies. Wish me luck!

Myself, I certainly don't need hair accessories, cause my hair is too short 😄, but I read once from a Site at Etsy from a woman from Ukraine or Russia, she have beautiful hair accessories 👍 Her name there is "YevheniiaShop".

You can check your local Walmart or Walgreens stores. They have some beautiful hair accessories you can buy. Especially, like jaw clips, borettes, and combs.
