If you're looking for an easy damage-free way to curl your hair, try out some headband curls!! You can find tutorials on YouTube. I tried this last night and it turned out great! My hair is at about BSL, I'm not sure if it would work on longer hair.... but all you do is put a headband around the top of your head, wrap all your hair around the band and go to sleep. Here are my results!

Beautiful curls!

I don't think I could manage such results with my length but happy to hear you found a safe way to get pretty ringlets.

I loved seeing your hair... mine used to look exactly like it, but you're smarter then me lol I used steam rollers! I am surprised they lasted so long? Did you use any product?

Thank you! I didn't use any product for hold, just a little argan oil for shine. I noticed that my hair holds curls a lot better when I use heatless methods than when I use heat tools.

WOW so pretty! I daren't try this on my hair though, because of the length, and fear of tangling - I wouldn't want to risk it.

Beautiful! I would love to do it. How do you keep your hair from unraveling around the headband? Mine never stays put

I add a few bobby pins in the back to hold it in place. You could try putting a hair net/shower cap over it too

I love rag curls, Torrin has a tutorial on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1ZgOhopgL8 My hair is already wurly so results may very, also, my hair gets so curly after it that I cannot comb the curls out, I have to wash it before, attempting anything, these were my results https://i.pinimg.com/564x/44/d5/aa/44d5aa250a22f034f7fc9bd5bd7564f0.jpg

I prefer this method as the hair is all contained in fabric during sleep.

So perfect and elegant! :heartbeat I wish these heatless curl methods would work in my hair. Unfortunately, if I do it with freshly washed hair, my hair never dries. It stays wet until I take it out. :( Maybe it would work if I did it when it was just barely damp?

Yes, you need your hair to be barely even damp. Start with dry hair and spritz it just lightly with water and try doing it that way.

I will try that sometime, thank you! I feel silly that I didn't try it before.

I've always loved how curls made with the headband method look like on others (your look great too!) but my hair never stays put when I've tried them, the back of my hair particularly. And on me the results usually are that I have beautiful curls around my face but rest is more or less normal straightish.
